Debreef self-hosted pilot scope Status: preparation only. Enrollment is not open. No form data is collected. Debreef helps an engineer understand and explain a finished Java/Spring code change that they did not watch being written. The intended v1 scope is Java 17/21, Maven, Spring Boot 3 and one-to-five-module projects. Larger or unsupported repositories require explicit qualification. A useful pilot would use a permitted repository with a meaningful base/head change, an engineer unfamiliar with that change and a reviewer able to check source evidence independently. Local Git and immutable source references are the starting point. Private source requires explicit consent and an isolated self-hosted environment. A model provider receives selected code only after a separate disclosure decision. Provider credentials must stay outside the repository and must never be sent in chat or a public intake form. The pilot should demonstrate source navigation, feature exploration, a technical question, recorded decisions and a pinned handover. Unknown runtime dispatch, absent test results and missing recorded rationale must remain visible. Source citations and model outputs need independent review. Public beta requires genuine model workflow qualification, installation, deletion, recovery, access-control and security checks. Full v1 additionally requires the original independent corpus and human value study. Neither is claimed complete by this preview. An approved contact and enrollment destination will be added before pilot intake opens.
